#009 COLOR MODEL DRAWING of SNOW WHITE SINGING

$600-1,000

Surrounded by her new friends, the princess finds gentle solace as she begins her song the morning after her terrible experience in the forest. In possibly her most iconic image, she is 6”, rendered in black pencil on a 12-field sheet, with inker’s notation and Color Model and production stamps. The word “standard,” penciled in the upper right, refers to her normal daylight colors. The drawing is by Jack Campbell, one of Disney’s early masters at depicting the human figure, who also animated the Blue Fairy. Disney, 1937
