“How do you do what?” Snow White is trying to make friends upon first meeting the Dwarfs, but Grumpy isn’t having any. This beautiful and most characteristic rough drawing is by Fred Moore. Grumpy is 6-1/4”, rendered in back and red pencil on a 12-field sheet, and he is perfect. The drawing has been backed for stability with the transparent glassine used by the Studio to separate drawings. Disney, 1937.
